Banana Bites

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • ¼ cup Coconut Flour
  • ¼ cup Almond Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sweetener (e.g., maple syrup, honey, granulated sweetener)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Nucolato (for serving)

STEPS

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the coconut flour and almond flour, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
  2. Slice the banana into ¼ to ½ inch thick rounds. Dip each banana slice into the batter, ensuring it's completely coated.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the coated banana slices into the pan, leaving some space between them. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. While the banana bites are cooking or just before serving, heat your desired amount of Nucolato in a microwave-safe bowl for 15-30 seconds, or until warm and dippable.
  5. Serve the warm banana bites with the heated Nucolato for dipping. Enjoy!
